We are currently seeking an entry-level Customer Success Engineer to join our Customer Success & Data Solutions team. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with customers to provide best-in-class post-sales support. The mission of our Customer Success & Data Solutions team is to ensure that our customers have the best possible experience with Alooma.

Our Customer Success Engineer works closely with our clients to provide creative solutions to data engineering problems and acts as the voice of the client to drive our product roadmap. They are trained to be active listeners and demonstrate empathy when customers encounter product issues. They will work closely a wide range of tools and technologies, such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Apache Kafka, SQL, and Python.

As a Customer Success Engineer, you will:
  • Solve and respond to customer issues and inquiries, ranging from providing customers with helpful resources to writing code that addresses customer issues
  • Work with Product to improve documentation and build new features using Python
  • Build and improve internal and external tooling to improve customer experience
  • Learn about customers’ successes and challenges, share customer feedback within Alooma, and advocate for customer interests
  • About You:
  • 2+ years of experience working with big data (i.e. data engineering)
  • General understanding of SQL, Python, and Linux
  • Experience with ODBC Databases and Cloud Data Warehouses
  • Team-oriented and possess strong collaboration skills
  • Excellent active listening skills, patience, and empathy
  • Passionate commitment to quality and success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly solve technical challenges
  • Able to relate technical concepts to customers of all technical backgrounds
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
