Account Executive

Alooma is looking for an Account Executive who is responsible for growing our business and presence within the market. We need an experienced sales person who has a consultative sales approach and a successful track record growing and onboarding clients with polished presentation skills. This individual must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high-performance sales culture, specifically managing a pipeline of new business opportunities and delivering results against a quota. This individual will provide the best sales experience possible for our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Become the resident expert on the Alooma platform, acquiring new customers for our cloud-based software
  • Demonstrating / selling value to key stakeholders within the accounts
  • Exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
  • Sell in collaboration with Solutions Engineering team in big data subject matter
  • Lead demos and manage trials
  • Manage opportunities through negotiation to close
  • Ensuring 100% satisfaction within your accounts
  • About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of software selling experience
  • Experience selling software as a service
  • Consistent track record of success with quota
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Thorough understanding of a related technology
  • Proven skill in conducting virtual presentations, online web demos, and remote sales processes
  • Proficiency using salesforce.com
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
